The Melbourne International Comedy Festival is thought to be one of the biggest of its kind in the world and is set to take place between April 4th and 29th in over 100 venues throughout the city.
More than 1,000 comedians will take to the stage during the festival, including Tom Gleeson, Ross Noble and Ardal O'Hanlon, to name a few.
There will also be numerous performances encompassing all comedy types, including stand-up, film, television, cabaret, street theatre and more besides.
Families hoping to keep their children entertained can do so at the Comedy Club for Kids, while visitors hoping to spot the next big thing might do just that at a range of performances by up-and-coming comedy talents.
Elsewhere in Melbourne, holidaymakers can enjoy a host of bars, restaurants and cultural attractions once the festival ends.
