Melbourne - Earthcore

Australia's largest and longest-running outdoor dance music festival, Earthcore, is to stage an inner-city party in Melbourne, on the second Monday of March.

While the majority of the events that Earthcore have staged have taken place in forest environments, as well in craters and by the sides of lakes, this forthcoming party is set to take place in Melbourne's Sidney Myer Music Bowl.

This will be Earthcore's 12th party in Melbourne and the event is set to be bigger than ever after last year's hiatus.

The main dance floor will feature the Israeli trance legends Infected Mushroom, while The Youngsters, Future Prophesies and DJ Lucas are also scheduled to appear.

Many more local, interstate and international artists will perform at the festival, though names have yet to be confirmed.

The event will also feature a total of 63 dance floors, several more music stages as well as a large market area and, as with all Earthcore events, chillout zones.
