Sydney, Australia's commercial capital is known for its famous bay and opera house, with strident fins resembling boat sails.

Featuring over 270 vessels at the Cockle Bay Marina in Darling Harbour, the show takes place between August 3rd and 8th 2006 and is well worth a visit for enthusiasts.

However, it's not only boat-lovers who'll be heading to darling harbour, as it also hosts world-famous bars such as Home and Cargo, nestled a snug, short distance from the centre of south Sydney's shopping district.

The show itself takes place at the giant convention centre on the harbour, which is also home to the world-famous motor show.

Activities, such as boat building, fishing and boating workshops will be present at the show, while fashion parades of the latest boating clobber will offer pret-a-porter gear for sailors and swimmers.
