Yacht a Race
For those who love their boats and fancy spending Christmas Down Under, the Sydney to Hobart yacht race offers all that and more.
Traditionally held on Boxing Day and sailing every year since 1945, the event is a key event in the Australian sporting calendar.
Starting in the famous Sydney Harbour, the competitors will navigate their way out and across the Tasman to Tasmania, where the yachts will round the island and sail up the Derwent river into the city.
