Culture Days in Salzburg
Every October, Salzburg in Vienna hosts one of Europe's most well-known cultural events.
The Culture Days festival has a far-reaching reputation for well presented and highly enjoyable concert and opera productions, playing in a number of historic venues throughout the city over a period of two weeks.
Opening the event will be a production of Giuseppe Verdi's La Traviata, but if that's not enough to make you board a flight and immediately check into a cheap hotel, there will also be performances by the Dusseldorfer Symphoniker and Prospero's World.
The festival will also feature performances of music by a number of classical composers, including Mozart, Strauss and Reed.
Although a comprehensive listing has not yet been released, the first performance is expected on October 21st.
The event is expected to cost between €46-€92 (£30-£61).
