Graz the Way to Do It
Arnold Schwarzenegger's home town of Graz may not normally be thought of as a centre for electronic art, but in May it becomes the location for Springsix, the spring festival that showcases the latest cutting-edge art in the electronic music industry.
Running from May 16th to 20th, the festival will see venues all over the city transformed as DJs and performers of the genre make the city one big party zone centred on music and visual imagery.
Visitors staying in Graz will also be able to enjoy a wide range of attractions in the city.
The historic old town area is a UN world heritage site, with buildings such as the Landhaus and the Mausoleum, while those fancying a grand view of the city can do so on the Schlossbergbahn, a funicular railway that takes takes visitors to the high viewpoint of the Schlossberg, topped by a large clock tower.
