All That Jazz in Belgium
Belgium will soon be busy hosting the Audi Jazz Festival, a two-month-long celebration of music with 68 concerts taking place in 16 cities.
People staying in cheap hotels all over Belgium will be able to catch a show, with gigs taking place in Brussels, Antwerp, Bruges and many other locations.
Despite the name of the event it will not only be jazz that will be celebrated over the course of the two months, with British electronic act the Cinematic Orchestra opening the festival.
Guitarist Philip Catherine will be playing a 65th birthday concert on October 31st, a show that is described as a "must see" by the festival organisers.
One gig that is sure to get the audience on their feet is the Vicente Amigo group's flamenco night on November 30th.
A trio led by Tunisian musician Anouar Brahem, who plays the oud, a stringed instrument similar to the lute, will bring the festival to a close on December 10th.
