Anima Magnetism in Brussels
Brussels will be hosting one of its most unique and exciting events in February next year, the Anima festival.
Anima serves as a showcase for the diversity of talent in the field of animation across Europe and explores the richness of the medium.
Belgium's capital turns into an international meeting place for thousands of people involved or interested in animation during the festival, which in 2008 will take place between February 1st and 9th.
There will be a competition of animated entries from all over the world, retrospectives, exhibitions of various works of creative wizardry, film lectures and workshops.
There will be two new additions to the Anima festival next year to recognise commercials and music videos.
Lovers of all things animated can find the 2008 Anima event at Brussels' Flagey Centre in the heart of the city.
