Feast on Free Folk and Jazz in Brussels

Feast on free folk and jazz in Brussels The Belgian capital of Brussels will give its visitors something to celebrate in July at the Brosella Folk and Jazz festival.

This completely free event will be held at the foot of the Atomium monument on July 12th and 13th and will include a main stage presenting a range of musical genres and summer sounds.

Hosts of Chinese lanterns provide a unique environment for festivalgoers to enjoy at night, while activities and entertainment ensure that younger visitors are kept amused during the day.

The Atomium is one of the attractions that holds 'must-see' status for many people staying in cheap hotels in Brussels.

Standing at a height of 102 metres, the structure comprises nine steel spheres connected to form the shape of a cell of an iron crystal magnified 165 billion times.

It was designed by Belgian engineer Andre Waterkeyn and built for the 1958 Brussels World's Fair.

Other tourist attractions in the European capital city include the Grand Place, or Grote Markt, which is bordered by the city tower and a variety of buildings with up to 300 years of history.
