Sfinks It's a Festival in Antwerp
Antwerp is set to see a celebration of world music this July as it holds the Sfinks Festival.
Running between July 26th and 29th, the event generally sees visitors hit the 40,000 mark and plays host to around 40 bands.
Taking place the Molevand - the event attracts not just regular festival-goers, but also children, as the visiteurope websites also claims that one of the event's advantages is its kids' facilities. These include a playground, mini-concerts and a 'kidz' bar.
Antwerp also offers a range of activities for those visiting the city, including cheap hotels.
Its official tourism page states that tourists can experience "refreshingly down-to-earth yet vivacious cosmopolitan habitat blessed with magnificent architecture, fashionable shop fronts, beer-washed pubs, dazzling monuments, jazzed-up clubs, inspired artworks and restaurant tables piled with plates of superb Belgian and multicultural food".
