Cream of Toronto's Crop on Show
An exposition celebrating the best that the agricultural and horticultural industries of Ontario have to offer takes place in November.
The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair at Toronto's Direct Energy Centre is seen as the biggest event of its kind in the state.
According to its organisers, the fair is the largest indoor event in the world that combines agricultural, horticultural, canine and equestrian themes.
Every type of homegrown product will be showcased at the exposition, including wine, jam, crafts, art clothing, equestrian products and of course more livestock and farm animals than you can shake a maple leaf at.
Among the attractions at the fair is a garden show with plants, flowers and horticultural toys for green-fingered visitors; vegetable and fruit competitions; cheese judging and even a rodeo.
Fans of equestrianism will also be interested in the Royal Horse Show, which includes show-jumping competitions and carriage driving events.
