Of Claus He Exists!

Of Claus he exists! Anyone who fancies reliving the childhood of Christmas past may find just what they are looking for at the Santa Claus Parade in Toronto on November 19th.

The parade, which has been going since 1905, includes only one Santa, but many floats, with the procession featuring clowns, teddy bears and a large number of children.

Running through Downtown, the parade is watched by hundreds of thousands of people.

Toronto has many more things to offer the visitor, both in the run-up to Christmas and at any other time.

It has a cosmopolitan culture and a large range of theatres and art galleries, all with an attractive setting on the shores of Lake Ontario.

A highlight is the 1,815 ft high CN Tower, the highest free-standing structure in the world, which offers visitors views as far as Niagrara Falls on a clear day.

Toronto has plenty of accommodation including cheap hotels and can make a good base to tour Ontario or visit Niagara
