Set Sail for the Toronto Boat Show

Fans of all things maritime can combine a holiday in Toronto with a trip to the city's annual boat show.

Every imaginable type of seaworthy vessel will be on show at this event, from sailboats and fishing boats to luxury yachts and sport boats.

There will also be displays of the latest accessories to keep fans of gadgets and gizmos happy.

One of the most impressive features of the event is its enormous indoor lake, which is the largest in the world and hosts a number of on-the-water activities.

The 'great Canadian fish tank' made its debut at this year's show and will be back by popular demand in 2008. The 40-foot long, eight-foot tall aquarium will be filled with 5,000 gallons of water and be fully stocked with native Ontario fish.

To keep the kids happy there will be boating and fishing zones, with a number of entertainment and educational areas.
