Rally to Roar into Gran Canaria
Visitors staying in cheap hotels in Gran Canaria could be in for some breakneck sporting action this year at the annual El Corte Ingles rally.
This race will take place on April 18th and 19th and will consist of two stages covering more than 593 kilometres.
Spectators will be able to assume vantage points at a number of locations around Gran Canaria, including Tejeda, San Mateo, Vallesco and Llanos de la Pez.
More than 100 teams regularly take part in this fast and furious competition, sending their drivers across difficult mountainous terrain and miles of loose dirt tracks.
Rallying is one of the most popular sports among racing fans, owing to the speed and excitement that it guarantees.
Followers of the World Rally Championship have the opportunity to travel all over the world in appreciation of their favourite sport, to destinations including Spain, Turkey, New Zealand, Sardinia and Greece.
