In these days of an ever expanding European Union it hasn't just been the old eastern bloc that has joined; Cyprus joined in 2004 and May 9th 2007 sees a celebration of the fact at the European Union Representation in Nicosia.

The public reception held at the Representation marks Europe Day, the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Rome.

Cypriots and other Europeans will be able to join in a variety of festivities and celebrations of all things European.
