The Czech city of Brno will be reverberating to the hum and buzz of 500 cc motorbikes in August, as the latest round of the Moto GP Championship wheelies into town.
Motorsports fans will be able to pack the stands at the Automotodrom Brno on August the 19th to see the daring riders on their sleek machines hurtling round the circuit, tearing down the straight and leaning at crazy angles as they swerve round corners as fast as they dare.
With just six races to follow the Brno round, the winner of the race could be taking a major step towards securing the title.
Visitors staying in cheap hotels will also be able to admire the elegant architecture and brick-red roofs of the Czech Republic's second city.
Perhaps the best attraction of all is Spilberk Castle, a baroque fort overlooking the city which has been both a royal residence and a prison in its time (though not of course the same time).
