Check out the Bohemian Carnival in Prague
Travellers staying in cheap hotels in Prague in February will be able to immerse themselves in local culture at the Bohemian Carnival.
The event will take place in various locations in the centre of the city from February 5th to 16th.
All sorts of festivities and celebrations are arranged during the period, including a float procession and carnival parade that runs through the heart of Prague.
The Bohemian Carnival also includes evening parties, art exhibitions, food events and much more for visitors to get their teeth into.
Several local restaurants get involved in the gastronomic side of the festival, serving special menus and offering promotions for revellers to make the most of.
Prague's winter and spring 2010 cultural calendar features various events and traditions for travellers to experience, including the One World Festival in March, which will include screenings of a number of documentary films united by the theme of human rights.
