Discover Dvorak in Prague
Classical music lovers will be able to attend a festival celebrating one of the great composers while staying in cheap hotels in Prague this summer.
The annual Dvorak's Prague festival will be held at the Rudolfinum Concert Hall from August 21st to September 2nd.
According to the organisers of the festival, Antonin Dvorak is "the greatest Czech of all time", having achieved success across Europe, Britain, the United States and even as far as Australia during his lifetime.
The annual celebration of the composer in Prague is intended to promote the work that he did during his time in the Czech capital and in central Bohemia.
At the 2009 event, visitors will be treated to performances of pieces by Dvorak, as well as other composers such as Berlioz, Mozart and Brahms, by groups including the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra and the Tokyo String Quartet.
Concerts will be held in the Rudolfinum Concert Hall, one of the Czech Republic's finest examples of neo-Renaissance architecture.
