'Diverse Shopping Experience' on Offer in Prague
Cheap hotels in Prague could be the ideal option for people who like nothing more than indulging in some retail therapy, according to the Czech Tourist Authority.
A spokesman for the agency said that the capital boasts a wide range of shopping experiences.
Tourists can head to the city's main shopping centres or explore its various markets and independent shops to find more unusual items.
"If people want something special, they should visit some of the Czech fashion designers boutiques – for example Klara Nademlynska, Tatiana Kovarikova [and] Timoure et group," the spokesman said.
"All these boutiques are near Old Town square in the centre of Prague. The most famous shopping street is Parizska, where you will find luxury goods."
Travellers visiting the Czech capital over the coming weeks will be able to enjoy some particularly special shopping experiences as the destination hosts its traditional Christmas markets.
According to recent research by Post Office Travel Services, Prague is one of the most affordable options for people planning a Christmas shopping break abroad this year.
