Prague Jazzed Up

Prague jazzed up Jazz fans will have an extra reason to visit Prague this autumn as the city hosts its own festival of the musical genre.

The Prague International Jazz Festival 2007 takes place in October (dates to be confirmed) to and celebrates its 30th year in 2007, featuring a wide array of singers and musicians from many countries.

English soloist Cliff Rich, Dutch trumpeter Saskia Laroo and Thomy, a French band playing in African and Latin styles, will be part of this year's line-up, states Radio Praha.

In addition to the event, Prague offers a wide range of interesting attractions for visitors staying in cheap hotels.

The city offers a spellbinding vista of beautiful architecture, with its most attractive and grand buildings including the Church of St Nicolas, Konopiste and Karlstejn castles, the many multi-span bridges on the blue Danube and, offering a modern contrast, the bizarre Dancing House, which looks like something warped by a hall of mirrors.

Prague is also famous for its (literally) Bohemian nightlife and low prices for food and drink.
