Prague Looks Forward to Musical Summer
Music fans staying in cheap hotels in Prague this summer will have no shortage of live entertainment to enjoy as the city hosts a series of gigs by acclaimed artists.
American rockers Limp Bizkit will be among the first to perform during Prague's summer of music, playing at the O2 Arena on June 18th as part of a world tour.
One of the biggest stars in pop music - Madonna - will be visiting Prague on August 13th this year for a gig at the Prague-Chodov arena, a venue which has capacity for up to 75,000 people.
The show is part of the pop queen's Sticky and Sweet tour, which will also stop by Manchester (July 7th), Paris (July 9th), Barcelona (July 21st) and many other destinations.
British music legends Radiohead will come to Prague for a gig at the city's Exhibition Grounds on August 23rd, a show that will be the band's first live performance in the Czech Republic.
Radiohead will also be visiting Austria and Poland this summer before returning to the UK to play at the Leeds and Reading festivals.
