A Danish Racket

A Danish racket For those who love the sport of badminton there is an extra incentive to visit Denmark this December, with the Copenhagen Masters tournament scheduled for December 27th to the 29th.

The sport is popular in Denmark and seats are said to be selling out fast for the international event, which is held in the 1,600 seat arena in the Falconer Hotel in central Copenhagen.

While enjoying the whirl of shuttlecocks and rackets, visitors to the Danish capital will find plenty more to do.

It has numerous architectural gems, including the royal palaces of Amalienborg and Rosenborg, which holds the crown jewels, while Kronborg Castle is being in Shakespeare's Hamlet.

Visitors also have plenty of aquatic attractions to see, with the Viking Ships Museum, canal tours and the chance to cross the sea to Sweden via the Oresund Bridge.

Copenhagen has plenty of accommodation, including a number of cheap hotels.
