Those planning to take advantage of Denmark's cheap hotels may be interested to read that between March 17th and May 9th Copenhagen will play host American Mixture - a combination of three ballet performances from North America.

To be staged at the city's Royal Theatre, Old Stage, the evening's entertainment will see six dancers perform Ulysses Dove's Dancing on the Front Porch, according to the visitcopenhagen website.

This will then be followed by two other performances by "shooting star" choreographers from New York and Canada.

In addition to the live ballet, those visiting Copenhagen in March who are lucky enough to be on an invite-only guest list will be able to take in the finest in fashion thanks to Copenhagen Catwalk, which is set to take place between March 29th and 30th.

Over the course of these dates, eight shows will be staged featuring what the visitcopenhagen website describes as some of Denmark's of "best designers".
