Santa Comes Early to Denmark
Many Danish people may be hoping they've been nice, not naughty, as the annual summer gathering of Father Christmases from all over the globe is set to take place.
The Father Christmas and Christmas Elves Congress, taking place between July 24th and 26th, is a chance for hardworking Santas from across the world to gather with their helpers and possibly share mince pies and a glass of sherry.
The event is the most important of the year for Santas, except for Christmas Day, offering attendants to discuss rooftop parking and standards in chimney maintenance, whatsonwhen reports.
Taking place in the Bakken Amusement Park, seven miles outside Copenhagen, Xmas professionals from Europe, the US, Japan and Canada are expected to arrive by sled, as no cars are allowed to the venue due to the deer mating system.
Bakken Amusement Park describes itself as the "most entertaining in Denmark" and features a 70-year old wooden rollercoaster.
