Roaring engines and souped-up motors may not be the first things that spring to mind when one thinks of Scandinavia, but Finland will be transformed into a nation of petrolheads next month as it hosts the Helsinki Motor Show.

As well as being home to a host of cheap hotels, Helsinki is the only city in all of the Nordic countries to host an annual car exhibition.

Exhibitors at the show will display the latest car models, all sorts of accessories, gadgets and gizmos as well as a range of services and products.

Visitors to the event this year will get more than just one exhibition for their money, as their ticket will also grant them access to the ATV 07 show for the general public and the Auto & Korjaamo 07 event for professionals.

The show is held at the Helsinki Fair Centre, which is easily accessible via car or public transport.

Media representatives and guests will attend the first day of the motorfest on November 29th before the doors are opened to all ticket holders from November 30th to December 2nd.
