Antique Hunting in Paris

The beautiful city of Paris will be playing host to a collection of antiques that will attract exhibitors and collectors from all over Europe.

Antiquities buffs or novice admirers staying in cheap hotels in Paris will be welcome at the event, which will take place at the French capital's Hippodrome de Longchamp.

The fair, which will run from March 14th to 24th, will include 250 exhibitors selling furniture, silverware, artwork, jewellery and plenty of bric-a-brac in between.

Eagle-eyed browsers will be able to lay their hands on some bargains and enthusiasts who plan to spend a whole day exploring the fair can find refreshments at the venue's cafe.

Visitors staying in hotels in Paris in mid-March will have no trouble sating their appetite for all things cultural, with the International Women's Film Festival taking place between March 14th and 23rd.

This festival will celebrate the growing canon of women's cinema, through both new films and retrospectives, with most events held at the Maison des Arts.
