Book a Cheap Hotel in Paris for Freud Exhibition
People who book a cheap hotel in Paris might be interested in seeing a lifetime of work by acclaimed artist Lucien Freud.
From March 20th, the Pompidou Centre in the heart of the capital will showcase a retrospective exhibition as the British artist turns 88 years old.
Paris has not displayed his work since 1987, but this gallery should make up for it. Over 50 works will be on show as well as smaller graphic works and photographs.
Visitors will have the chance to see inside the artist's studio, which the exhibition tries to recreate, with a number of self-portraits and impressions on famous works.
Of course, no Freud exhibition would be complete without Big Sue, one of his most famous works, and tourists visiting the city will be able to see her up close.
By recreating the artist's studio, organisers of the exhibition will try to create a sense of enclosed and private space which Freud shared with his subjects, especially his nudes and self-portraits.
Other exhibitions running at the Pompidou in March include a collection of women artists.
