Motorsport fans have a great reason to visit the beautiful island of Corsica when the World Rally Championships roll into town.
The winding roads of the countryside of this delightful part of France will see the Rallye de France Tour de Corse taking place between October 12th and 14th.
Visitors staying in cheap hotels on the island will be able to watch as the heroes behind the wheel hurtle round hundreds of miles of track, winding this way and that, zooming down the straight bits, churning up huge clouds of dust and occasionally taking a spectacular tumble.
It's the fourth from last rally in the championship so it may go a long way towards indicating who will be the ultimate winner of the drivers' title.
At present Swede Marcus Gronholm leads by eight points.
Those exploring the island, fames as the birthplace of Napoleon, have plenty of beaches and mountains to enjoy amid the outstanding scenery.
