Cycling Fans Flock to Paris
Followers of cycling will be booking their cheap hotels in Paris soon ahead of the climax of the 2008 Tour de France.
The tour will reach its conclusion at the famous finish line on the French capital's Champs-Elysees on July 27th.
There will be a number of destinations around Paris and its surrounding areas where visitors will be able to gather to watch the race, with the final leg stretching 143km from Etampes to the capital.
Brest in Brittany will play host to the launch of the tour on July 5th, with a 197km route to Plumelec.
The following three weeks will see the Tour de France competitors pass through France's best known regions and cities, including Nantes, Toulouse, Jausiers and Saint-Etienne.
This year's tour will comprise a total of 21 stages, including five mountain legs, covering a total distance of 3,500km.
