Around 20,000 visitors attend the event to indulge their love of all things grape or perhaps initiate themselves into the obsession with one of the world's most popular tipples.

More than 100 chateaux from all over France are represented, with recognised names and new producers alike trying to boost their exposure and recruit new devotees.

Visitors can indulge in a range of events, including tasting, exhibitions, demonstrations and conferences.

Le Grand Tasting is held at the Carrousel du Louvre, the shopping centre situated on the Rue du Rivoli, in the heart of the romantic city.
