La Rochelle Hosts International Film Festival
The second biggest film festival in France is welcoming the public back to La Rochelle for the International Film Festival.
It is thought that the event will feature an exciting programme of over 100 feature films and takes place from June 30th until July 10th.
The main venues for the screenings of the films are La Coursive-Scene Nationale and Carre Amelot.
This year, a John Huston retrospective features with showings of classic films such as the Maltese Falcon and other showings of films starring Lauren Bacall, Humphrey Bogart and Katherine Hepburn.
Directors featured in this year's festival include Bulle Ogier, Roman Polanski and Maurice Ronet.
