Nice Hosts Jazz Festival
Those who enjoy the smooth sounds of jazz should visit France this summer where the Nice Jazz Festival will take place.
The event dates back to the 1940s and takes place in the awe-inspiring Cimiez Arenas and Gardens.
Nice Jazz Festival is renowned for its breathtaking location, which is perfect in the summer, as well as its unique atmosphere.
A number of performances will take place between July 19th and July 26th on three stages which are set in olive groves and an amphitheatre.
Each evening there are simultaneous performances in each location and visitors are free to wander to whichever ones take their fancy.
Highlights at this year's event include performances by Erykah Badu, Cesaria Evora, Kanye West, Roy Hargrove, Seun Kuti and Egypt 80.
