Nuit Blanche Comes to Paris
People staying in cheap hotels in Paris in October may get the opportunity to experience Nuit Blanche.
This event will take place on October 4th and 5th this year and will see museums, monuments, parks and other public areas stay open all night for visitors.
Residents and visitors to Paris have made this occasion a huge success over recent years, with some 600,000 people enjoying night-time revelry in 2006.
Those planning to attend who think they will be able to last through the night will be greeted at dawn with breakfasts organised at the city's various city halls and local associations.
Nuit Blanche, which literally means 'white night' in French, was founded by Bertrand Delanoe, the mayor of Paris, in 2002.
The event has proven such a success in the French capital that it has sparked something of a trend in several other world cities, including Brussels, Chicago, Madrid, Montreal and Turin.
