Paris Prepares a Rugby Spectacle

Paris prepares a rugby spectacle Rugby fans looking for an ideal autumn getaway will be salivating at the prospect of the World Cup final in Paris this October.

With the city famed for its romantic and cultural highlights, Paris will also look to assert its status as a place to celebrate – and commiserate – for the winners and losers of one of the world's biggest sporting events.

Fans are already snapping up the tickets and, with almost 50 matches to take in across ten French cities, the event promises to be an impressive spectacle.

A veteran of international sporting events after hosting the football World Cup in 1998, the same venues will be used for rugby's own showpiece event.

The World Cup will culminate with the final on October 20th at the Stade de France, with thousands expected to descend on Paris.

Whether you've got a ticket for the big game or just want to soak up the atmosphere in one of the city's many cheap hotels, Paris could be the place to spend autumn this year.
