Paris Salutes Contemporary Design
Paris will be doffing its beret to the fresh and exciting world of contemporary design in April.
Between April 10th and 14th, people staying in cheap hotels in Paris will be able to visit the Rue de General Foy as one of its buildings is taken over by the expansive Festival of Modern Designs.
More than 40 French and international galleries will participate in the event, which will use a six-storey building as its base.
Some of the latest design talents will have an opportunity to put their work on show, while some more established figures in the industry will also display their latest projects.
It will not only be modern design that is acknowledged at the festival, however, as it is held in tandem with Paris' Festival of Antique Designs.
Another highlight of the French capital's cultural calendar in April will be the Moroccan Film Festival, which will run from April 10th to 13th.
