Sandison Reinterprets Monet
Paris' Musee d'Orsay is currently presenting a fascinating new spin on one of the most famous pieces of Impressionist art.
As part of its Correspondences season, the museum will present Charles Sandison's interpretation of Water Lilies by Claude Monet.
Sandison is a Scottish artist and teacher with an interest in combining the seemingly distinct fields of art and science.
He uses computer algorithms to reinterpret famous works of art and present them in an entirely new way, with the new creations projected onto the walls of darkened spaces.
Visitors are invited to walk through the spaces and immerse themselves in the new and fascinating images, which include words, signs and other icons that are simultaneously recognisable and strange.
People staying in cheap hotels in Paris will be able to find the innovative exhibition at the Musee d'Orsay until May 18th this year.
