Sigur Ros to Play Paris
Ethereal Icelandic quartet Sigur Ros will bring their world tour to the Zenith in Paris this year.
Sigur Ros are known for their unusual, transcendental sound and recently released their fifth album, which has an Icelandic title that roughly translates as With a Buzz in Our Ears We Play Endlessly.
While the name of the band may not be familiar to widespread audiences, most people are likely to have heard Sigur Ros' music as it has been used in a number of films and television programmes.
People staying in cheap hotels in Paris will be able to see the band play the Zenith on November 15th as part of an extensive tour in support of their latest album.
Other venues that the group will visit over the coming months include the Glasgow Academy (November 6th), the Razzmattaz in Barcelona (November 13th) and the HMH in Amsterdam (November 17th).
A number of popular bands will visit the Zenith in November, including the Kooks, Keane, Slipknot and Motorhead.
