Cheap Hotels in France - News
The Full Monte
Monte Carlo is glamorous at the best of times, but the town gets an extra buzz when the Formula One Grand Prix comes to town.
Held in the presence of Royalty, the Monaco Grand Prix weekend takes place on the weekend of May 24th to the 27th, with warm-ups and qualifying being followed by the race itself, as the cars wind in and out of the city buildings on the public streets, a far cry from the purpose-built racetracks that host Grand Prix elsewhere.
According to organisers, tickets range from 90 (£61) to 500, with Spaniard Fernando Alonso hoping to repeat his victory of last year.
Visitors staying in cheap hotels in the area can enjoy both motorsport and a wide range of attractions in the sun, with plenty of chances to spot the stars over the weekend, relax on the beach or take a boat ride on the beautiful blue waters of the Cote D'Azur.
