Vistors to Paris are never short of places to see art with so many famous galleries around, but from November 1st to December 1st the French capital is home to a series of exhibitions, some of which run on into February.

The Maison Europeenne de la Photographie is host to one of the exhibitions, where Louvre professor Michel Frizot will put on a display of magazine photography, followed by an exhibition throughout December by Anne de Modenard on photography in advertising.

There is also an exhibition called Mutations, which includes work from photographers all over Europe.

Aside from the exhibitions, the city of lights offers a vast range of attractions for visitors.

There are numerous grand historic buildings, such as the Bastille Palace and Cathedral of Notre Dame, monuments such as the Arc de Triomphe, not to mention the fabulous views from the Eiffel Tower, all of which will temp visitors to readily weld the camera themselves.

Paris has a wealth of accommodation for visitors including plenty of cheap hotels.
