Veteran Rockers REM to Hit Paris
Despite being part of the music scene for nearly 30 years, REM will show this summer that they are far from out of steam as they embark on an extensive tour across Europe.
The legendary three-piece band will get their travels underway this weekend with a performance at Spain's Bilbao Festival on July 5th.
They will then play regular shows across the continent throughout July and August, including appearances at Ireland's Oxegen Festival, Scotland's T in the Park and the Umbria Jazz Festival in Perugia, Italy.
People staying in cheap hotels in Paris will be able to see REM when their tour stops at the Rock en Seine festival on August 28th.
This event, which takes place on August 28th and 29th, will see REM joined at the top of the bill by Amy Winehouse.
Other performers will include The Raconteurs, Tricky, The Roots, Justice, The Streets, Kate Nash and Kaiser Chiefs.
