A Chemical Reaction in Berlin

Electronic beats and synthesised melodies have been close to the hearts of many German music lovers for years – legendary act Kraftwerk hail from Dusseldorf – and these electrophiles will be getting a taste of Britain's brand of bleeps and basslines when the Chemical Brothers visit Berlin next month.

The dance music duo – more formally known as Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons – will hit the Arena in Berlin on November 21st as part of their world tour.

Tom and Ed have been busy earning their crust all over Europe and Asia this year and will visit the US, Brazil and Argentina before their jetset journey takes them to Germany.

Since the release of their first album Exit Planet Dust in 1995, the Chemical Brothers have steadily grown into one of the biggest names on the dance music scene.

They have collaborated with artists as diverse as Noel Gallagher, Beth Orton, the Flaming Lips and Bobby Gillespie in their time and have recently beefed up their musical canon with their sixth album We Are The Night.

While Tom and Ed may not be in need of any cheap hotels in Berlin, there are plenty on offer for die-hard fans who fancy a trip to the German capital to see the Chemicals react.
