Africa Comes to Munich
The city of Munich will be the destination for the celebration of an entire continent over the coming months, as Afrika Afrika entertains crowds until January 12th.
This extravaganza combines circus and theatre in an enormous tent with room for 2,000 spectators.
Among the entertainers on show are a troupe of pole artists who perform death-defying leaps close to the top of the tent, acrobatic dancers and human pyramids.
Before bringing its extraordinary show to Europe, Afrika Afrika toured the continent after which it is named for two years, recruiting artists, dancers, singers and musicians to give the show an authentic style and flavour.
Visitors staying in cheap hotels in Munich can catch Afrika Afrika, which has already gained rave reviews from a number of newspapers and magazines in Germany, at the city's Orleansplatz arena.
The show will continue touring next year to entertain audiences in London, Vienna, Barcelona, Paris and others.
