Areas of Interest in Berlin

The Kreuzberg is a memorial site that stands 66 metres high. A walk through Viktoriapark up to the summit of this memorial is relaxing and invegearting. The site was designed by the architect Karl Friedrich Schinkel, and commemorates the liberation from Napoleon. A little unknown fact, is that a vineyard is hidden away on its slopes and produces a little unknown wine called Kreuz- Neuroberger.

Boxhagener Platz is very popular not only with tourists, but Berliners alike. Cafes, bars and shops surround the area around of the Boxhagener Platz. Prices here can be a bit more than other areas of Berlin but don’t be put off if you can afford it. This area is also famous for its Sunday Flea Market.  The general vibe around this area is great and is certainly worth spending some time here.
