Chill out or Get Hyped at Summerjam
Cologne's Summerjam should give reggae fans the chance to go crazy to some banging beats, or chill out to loved-up grooves this summer.
Europe's largest Reggae festival, the 21st incarnation will take place over the weekend of July 14th and 16th 2006.
Reggae legends Jimmy Cliff, The Gladiators and Ziggy Marley will be adding their distinctive styles to the top-notch selection of musicians on display.
Damian 'Junior Gong' Marley, who recently had a smash hit in the UK and US with his song Beautiful, will also be appearing.
Dubbed as "welcome to the next generation", the festival's organisers also draw attention to 2006 as the 25th anniversary of reggae legend Bob Marley's untimely death.
Travellers to event will no doubt be hoping that the recent heatwave, which provided England's footballers with an excuse for failure, will continue over the weekend to keep the party thriving and make the Caribbean musicians feel at home.
