Discover Sand Sculpting in Berlin
Visitors to Berlin will be able to learn more about the fascinating art of sand sculpting at the Sandsation festival.
This event will run from June 8th until August 3rd and see sand-carvers from all over the world come to the German capital.
People staying in cheap hotels in Berlin will be able to see the sand sculptures close to the city's new central station.
A new element of the 2008 festival will be a World Doubles Championship, where 12 teams of carvers will compete to create the most impressive giant sand sculptures.
Travellers visiting Berlin in June and July will also be able to experience the German-French Folk Festival.
This event, which will run from June 13th to July 14th, will boast world music performances as well as amusement parks and food fairs.
