Frankfurt Film Festival Line Up Announced

The line-up for next month's Turkish Film Festival in Frankfurt has finally been revealed, with visitors to the German city set to be treated to work spanning a number of genres.

Now in its eight year, the week-long event is likely to see demand for cheap hotels in Frankfurt to soar, with tourists and locals alike flocking to see the 22 works on offer.

Among the likely highlights of the festival, romantic drama 'Greivance Street' will get the event rolling on Monday 3rd November, with stars and Turkish big-screen legends Fikret Hakan and Selda Akor expected to attend.

As with all of the films being screened over the course of the week, this landmark production will be shown in its original language, with German and English subtitles.

All of the events will be held at the Deutches Filmmusem (German Film Museum) in the heart of Frankfurt.

Just recently, the city successfully played host to its annual book fair, with the Turkish publishing industry serving as guests of honour for the 2008 event, though its status as a major air transport hub and gateway to the stunning countryside of south-west Germany, continues to make the city popular with tourists from all over Europe.
