Grab Some Air and See Some Style
Lovers of all things extreme, rad and gnarly will be in their element if they make a hotel booking in Munich around December 1st when the Air & Style snowboard contest takes off.
This year marks the 15th anniversary of this event, which is the world's biggest straight jump snowboarding competition.
Crowds of up to 30,000 people gather around the enormous ramp at the Olympic Stadium to lend the competition a raucous atmosphere.
Adrenaline junkie after adrenaline junkie flies down the runway to catch as much air and pull off as audacious a trick as possible to outdo their opponents.
The winner walks, or slides, away with prize money of $250,000 (£122,300) and a brand new Audi.
The fun then continues into the evening with DJs and bands entertaining the audience – this year will see rock n rollers the Hives take to the stage.
