Japan Festival Comes to Berlin

Japan festival comes to Berlin Visitors and residents in Berlin will be able to enjoy a taste of the Orient in September when the annual Japan Festival takes place in the German city.

The Spandau Citadel in Berlin will play host to the three-day festival, which allows visitors to get a glimpse into the art and culture in Japan.

Famous Japanese art forms such as origami, calligraphy and kimono art will be showcased, as well as Japanese martial arts and strategic board games.

A number of other activities will also be on offer, such as sword fighting, Taiko drumming, story telling, karaoke and traditional Japanese dancing.

Visitors can also take a relaxing walk around the Zen garden where there will be a fireworks display to end the festival.

Those wishing to attend this festival are advised to book their accommodation in one of the many hotels in Berlin now.
