Police Bavaria Action

Police Bavaria Action Fans of the ageless pop group The Police may find the thought of seeing the group back in action in Munich on September 22nd a very arresting thought.

Held close to the start of the famous Oktoberfest, enabling visitors staying in cheap hotels to enjoy the music and a drink or hundred afterwards, the gig will be held at the Olympiastadion, which hosted the 1972 Olympics and was home to Munich's two football clubs, Bayern and 1860, until the construction of the Allianz Arena for the 2006 World Cup.

The arena is famous for being hugely atmospheric, partially covered by its iconic spider web roof.

Both the stadium and the band will thus be turning back the clock to the glory days in what should be a memorable event as Sting and co strut their stuff once again.

Those fancying a look at the new Allianz Arena may get the chance to see a Bayern home game, possibly in the Champions League.
