Springfest
Visitors to Germany in late April may be delighted to note that they don't have to wait for the October to enjoy a beer-filled festival in Bavaria.
The Munich Spring Festival, which runs from April 20th to May 4th, is centred on the large Theresienwiese fairground in the heart of the city, which will also be suitably adorned with numerous food and beer tents.
As a result, the event provides fun for all the family, with lots of beer and sausages to go with rides for the kids, all in the customary Bavarian atmosphere of oompah bands and rubber shorts.
